“واعية” she is aware- Mobile application
On behalf of LOUDER, I am delighted to work on the content of a mobile application in Iraq named “ واعية” which means that she is aware of the Al Iraqi Firdaws organization funded by SIDA and Norwegian People’s Aid.
It is a digital application that can guide and empower women in their process of political participation.

“واعية” means she is aware
● It is an educational tool that raises awareness on women’s rights, and political participation
● It is a free, accessible, interactive user friendly platform that works offline and uses technology through different narratives and visuals to empower women and men to identify discriminatory behavior
● It provides guidance on key issues related to women’s rights
● It Illustrates the diffrenerce between gender and sex and highlights GBV (Gender Based violence)
● Includes international standards set by the international legal instruments on women’s human rights adopted by UN bodies;
● It empowers women in their key messages to the media and in the election campaign.
Mobile application content
The mobile application will provide Understanding national laws from the perspective of gender equality, combating gender based violence and their approach to human rights principles, declarations related to international conventions that Iraq has ratified or acceded to. It will be divided into two different sections:
